With domestic football taking a pause due to the international break, Goal takes a look at the teams that have yet to lose in Europe's five elite leagues
Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are five of 10 clubs from Europe's five biggest leagues that are still unbeaten in their respective leagues heading into the international break, with Valencia, Sampdoria, Borussia Monchengladbach, Hoffenheim and Mainz making up the other teams that have yet to taste defeat domestically.
Serie A champions Juventus are the only team to still maintain a perfect record heading into October, winning all six of their league encounters to date, including a 3-2 victory over title rivals Roma at the weekend.
Elsewhere in Italy, Sampdoria have been in fine form as well, winning four matches so far and drawing their other two.
In England, Jose Mourinho's Chelsea remain unbeaten after seven games, spilling points only once when they had to settle for a 1-1 draw away against Manchester City back in September, but beating Arsenal and Everton among others.
Reigning French champions Paris Saint-Germain, meanwhile, are still unbeaten after nine games, even if they have yet to find their best form. PSG have recorded three wins so far, while drawing their other six games.
Luis Enrique's Barcelona have been in impressive form in La Liga, bagging six wins in seven encounters, with only Malaga getting a draw versus the Catalans. The Camp Nou side are not the only Spanish side to remain unbeaten for now, however, with second-placed Valencia winning five and drawing two games.
In Germany, an impressive four teams have yet to leave the pitch beaten this term, with leaders Bayern Munich holding the best record after five wins in seven games. Hoffenheim and Monchengladbach have both won three and drawn four, while Mainz have emerged victorious just twice and drew their remaining five games.
Elsewhere in Europe, Benfica, Porto and Sporting CP all have yet to lose in the Portuguese top flight, while Twente remain unbeaten in the Eredivisie.
In Russia, Zenit and Kuban Krasnodar may still dream of an unbeaten-season, while Dynamo Kiev and Dnipr Dnipropetrovsk can still hold the same ambition in Ukraine.
The Belgian league is the only one of Europe's top 10 competitions where no team is still without defeat heading into the international break.
