Nigeria’s Ebola Volunteers Squad

BASKING in the universal acclamation of Nigeria for setting the pace in the containment of the Ebola Viral Disease (EVD), the Federal Government’s decision to set up an international Ebola Volunteers group comes highly commended.
It is important that we make the most of this achievement by taking it forward to assist our neighbours in the sub-region, such as Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, which are suffering from a vicious pandemic that has clearly overwhelmed them.
At this juncture of this frightening emergency, it is no longer a question of whether Nigeria is benefiting commensurately from our unending sacrifices both within the region and the African continent as a whole. It is now a matter of meeting the Ebola challenge at its present ground zero and helping to overpower it there before another index case finds its way to our shores to threaten our population.

Man Punches A 1-Year-old Baby In The Face Moments After Having s*x With Her Mother.

The Ohio man allegedly punched the infant in the face because she would not stop crying while he was trying to have s*x. The little girl is only one year old and faced sever bruises on her right eye.
Markeese Cummings, 24, is now charged with $75,000 at the Lucas County jail. So far he has been arrested for felony battery, but more is expected to come.
According to Detective Lawrence Anderson, Cummings was only the woman’s s*xual partner. Simone Day, the victim’s 20-year-old mother, claimed that she moved her baby to her own room when Cummings visited her Toledo apartment.
Anderson reports that “After having s*xual relations with Ms. Day, Mr. Cummings told the officer that the baby was in her room crying.” What kind of a response is that from someone that just punched a baby in the face?
The child’s mother told investigators that “he and the baby went downstairs to get something to drink, but continued crying for her me. That’s when I hear him hit my baby. ”
Police reports show that he punched the baby “on the right side of her face with a closed fist causing serious harm.” The baby being so young is at great risk of shaken baby syndrome

"I am one of Nigeria's five most successful and richest musicians in Nigeria -K-Solo

Producer and Musician, K-Solo, went under the radar after his bitter split with his wife in 2012.The producer credited with producing all the songs on Timaya's first smash album says he traveled out of the country to lay low.He told Punch
I had so much bad press that I needed to go away to somewhere else where I could reorganise my life,“During that period, I took a close look at the Nigerian music industry. I found that many artistes were not doing anything new, in terms of content. Instead of working on new idioms, they were busy recycling old songs – mostly highlife songs that were very popular between the 1960s and 1980s – and repacking them as new hits....
“Also, I have noticed that many so-called musicians are not paying attention to songs. Nowadays, everybody seems to be concentrating on beats and getting their fans to dance, instead of composing good songs.
The result is that contemporary Nigerian music has lost a great deal of content. And this is not good for us.”
